Jit Parekh joins Aon as a partner in the UK DC team

Aon plc, a prominent global professional services firm, has welcomed Jit Parekh as a partner in its UK Defined Contribution (DC) team. With over 12 years of experience advising trustees and corporates, Parekh joins Aon from Schroders Solutions. In his previous role, he led the DC team at Schroders Solutions, overseeing both advisory and fiduciary DC clients. Later, he transitioned to a broader position involving proposition development and strategic initiatives for DC and defined benefit schemes on a global scale. Parekh initiated his career as an investment consultant at WTW and later focused on DC opportunities at Isio, specifically working with DC trust and master trust clients.

Jit Parekh has recently become a partner in Aon's UK defined contribution team after over a decade of advising trustees and corporates. Formerly with Schroders Solutions, Parekh initially led the DC team, overseeing advisory and fiduciary DC clients. His role expanded to include proposition development and strategic opportunities across DC and defined benefit schemes globally. Parekh's career began as an investment consultant at WTW, and later at Isio, he concentrated on DC opportunities, particularly with DC trust and master trust clients.

Ben Roe, senior partner and head of DC consulting at Aon in the UK, said, "Jit Parekh has joined us at this key time in the market’s development. I'm sure our clients will soon be benefiting from his wide and excellent knowledge and experience."

Commenting on his appointment, Jit Parekh also added, "The DC market continues to grow and evolve at pace. However, there remains a real issue around retirement income adequacy. It is therefore critical that corporates and trustees look to deliver strong outcomes for members. I’m joining a market-leading team at Aon which is strongly positioned to help clients make better decisions on these challenges – and I’m looking forward to building on the team’s successes in driving best-in-class investment solutions.”
